Monmouthshire LANDMAP Study
Client: Monmouthshire County Council/Countryside Council for Wales
Coordination of study for county area [880sqkm] using method of consistent landscape assessment for Wales including briefing of biodiversity, earth sciences, history and culture aspects and public perception studies. A rural economy study was developed to provide additional information on the rural economy. An assessment of special landscape areas was also undertaken. The Visual and Sensory aspect was revised in 2007.
Neath Port Talbot LANDMAP Study
Client: Neath Port Talbot CB Council/Countryside Council for Wales
Coordination of LANDMAP study for county area [770sqkm] including undertaking
visual and sensory assessment and briefing of landscape habitat, geological
landscape, historical and cultural landscape aspects and public perception
studies. A landscape character assessment based on the aspects was also
prepared.
Merthyr Tydfil LANDMAP Study
Client: Merthyr Tydfil CB Council/Countryside Council for Wales/Groundwork Wales
Coordination of LANDMAP study for county area [110sqkm] including briefing of biodiversity, earth sciences, history and culture aspects and public perception studies. Landscape strategy and design and management guidelines were prepared to assist in socio-economic regeneration and a separate Special Landscape Area report prepared.
