TAN8 Facilitating Planning for Renewable Energy in Wales

White Consultants acted as part of a team to develop a strategic planning tool to assist local authorities in planning proactively for renewable energy across Wales to assist preparation of TAN 8. Research and site appraisal techniques were used to test scenarios and a steering group was reported to consisting of the industry, planning agencies, conservation groups and other interested parties.
