Exeter landscape sensitivity and capacity study

Client: Exeter City Council

Assessment of the landscape around Exeter in terms of its intrinsic sensitivity and its capacity to absorb housing or employment development.  Sensitivity is based on Landscape Description Units and divided into four main criteria-cultural, ecological, visual and tranquillity. Parcels of land are identified using Historic Landscape Character assessments to sit within the existing landscape assessment and are assessed in terms of the criteria.
