Pendragon Fach wind farm appeal
Client: Countryside Council for Wales
Expert witness for the Countryside Council for Wales opposing a proposed wind farm for four turbines on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park and 21 km outside the nearest Strategic Search Area.
The effects on the National Park were considered to be significant due to its wide visibility within the Park and the effect on sensitive landscapes and viewpoints within the Park. It was also argued that the site was poorly located in terms of national policy.
The appeal was dismissed.
