Knowesgate Multiple Windfarm DTI Inquiry
Client: Northumberland County Council
Expert witness for Northumberland County Council against three proposed windfarms of 18, 20 and 21 turbines individually and cumulatively in their arrangement and numbers. The position taken was that amended schemes would be acceptable and indeed one wind farm development was modified within the inquiry period to satisfy our requirements. The area had been subject to a previous study by the consultancy providing landscape and visual assessment services.
